Governys was founded in 2025 by four partners — friends with complementary expertise in law, finance, and IT — united by a common mission: to rethink contract management for the critical and financial sectors. From our own professional experience, we observed that contract governance was often fragmented, time-consuming, and dangerously misaligned with growing regulatory demands. We created Governys to change that.

At the core of our vision is the belief that European financial institutions must reclaim digital sovereignty — progressively moving away from GAFAM dependency to protect their systems, data, and regulatory integrity. That’s why we built Home Clause, the first fully EU-sovereign CLM platform designed to deliver both compliance and control.
